Surge in Cybercab Sightings at Gigafactory Texas
Drone footage captured by Joe Tegtmeyer at Gigafactory Texas has provided the most extensive public view to date of the Cybercab, revealing 25 units across key areas of the facility. This observation marks a clear escalation in testing and validation activities as Tesla moves closer to its mass production targets.
Specifically, 14 metallic gold Cybercabs were photographed in close formation outside the factory exit. These vehicles are notable for their autonomous-only design, featuring neither steering wheels nor pedals, underscoring Tesla’s vision for a driverless future.
An additional nine units were spotted at the crash testing facility, presumably undergoing rigorous safety and structural assessments. Two more Cybercabs were observed in the west end-of-line area, suggesting final pre-production checks are underway.
Beyond static sightings, Tegtmeyer reported observing several Cybercabs actively driving around the Gigafactory complex, indicating real-world testing is in progress.
